As far as employment goes, Stanways Coaches, in particular, our 3 partners, are trying to do things a bit differently than our competitors. We pay, what we feel is, one of the highest rates of pay in the area. Along with a great team spirit and several benefits, we think we have got it just about right. 1. 3 years conviction / accident free motoring and a maximum of 3 pts on your lincence.
2. Be the holder of an Enhanced Disclosure (CRB) badge wih Cheshire County County.
3. Be over the age of 25.
4. Be of smart appearance.
5. Have a checkable work history and be prepared to provide us with referees upon request.
6. Be willing to submit to DVLA licence check prior to an offer of employment being made.
7. Be fully conversant with current driver's hour's legislation and a thorough knowledge of Working Time Directive and its application.
8. Be in possession of a Full PCV licence with the appropriate entitlement.
Due to the vast majority of our Education Contracts being with Cheshire County Council it is highly desirable that you have the badge mentioned in item 2. Without it you would be unable to comply with the Council's terms and conditions and, therefore, seriously limit your chances of employment with Stanways Coaches.
